Darion Gregory took over the Jamestown Community College (JCC) cross country program prior to the start of the 2024 season.

Before becoming a Jayhawk, Gregory had an illustrious college track and cross-country career at St. Bonaventure University, where he earned several accolades, including two stints on the Atlantic 10 Cross Country All-Academic Team in 2021 and 2022 and the Track All-Academic Team in 2022 and 2023.

Gregory also graduated from St. Bonaventure, ranking second in school history for the cross country 5K (15:40), seventh in the 8K (26:13.6), and seventh in the 10K (33:15) while holding top ten individual times in 12 events.

Darion was raised in Smethport, PA, where he attended high school, where he was a four-time state qualifier and two-time state medalist in cross country and a member of the National Honor Society.

Coach Gregory is also known back at St. Bonaventure and in his hometown for his contributions away from the athletic fields. He organized events benefiting St. Bonaventure veterans and Earth Day trash pickup and volunteered at the Warming House and the Olean Children's Clothing Drive, and more.
