Jayhawks Runners Compete at Fredonia State Invitational

FREDONIA - The Jamestown Community College cross country opened up the 2021 season Saturday morning, competing in the Fredonia State Invitational.

 

The Jayhawks were one of four teams that competed Saturday morning along with NCAA DII Gannon University and Roberts Wesleyan College, along with host SUNY Fredonia.

 

Emma Redlecki (Clymer, NY/Clymer Central) competed in the 4k event, finishing with a time of 21:31.18. Redlecki's time was good for 22nd out of 26 runners during the event.

 

Making his collegiate debut, Joey Pillittieri (Falconer, NY/Falconer) competed in the 6k event. Pillittieri finished with a time of 24:13.27, placing 38th out of 42 runners.

 

The Jayhawks will be back in action next Saturday, September 11th, for the Doug Watts Open hosted by Edinboro University.
