The women's JCC volleyball team (NJCAA Div III, 20-8) traveled to Monroe CC to face off against the Thunderwolves of Niagara County Community College (NJCAA Div III, 6-16). The first match was close with Niagara coming out with the win (25-23). But the Jayhawks came back and won the next two matches (25-14, 15-8). The Jayhawks were led by #9 Hannah Vezina (Southwestern) with 11 kills, #10 Madison Alexander (Southwestern) 9 kills and 8 digs, #2 Destiny Portlow (Olean) with 3 solo blocks, then #4 Ashley Butman (Jamestown) who had 3 kills, next was #5 Carly Abbate (Panama) with 23 assists and 11 digs, and lastly there was #12 Kayla Mansfield (Pine Valley) with 2 kills and 2 assists.
