The JCC Jayhawks women's volleyball team (NJCAA Div III, 16-4) traveled to Corning CC to participate in a POD tournament with their second opponent being the Panthers of Tompkins-Cortland Community College (NJCAA Div III, 4-12). The Jayhawks dominated all 3 sets with the Panthers only getting into double digits once in the match (25-10, 25-6. 25-9). The Jayhawks were led by #1 Rebecca Pew 's (Jamestown) 4 digs; #2 Destiney Portlow 's (Olean) 6 kills; #4 Ashley Butman 's (Jamestown) 6 kills and 3 digs; #5 Carly Abbate 's (Ashville) 36 assists, 6 aces, and 6 digs; #6 Alexis Terrette 's (Randolph) 4 digs; #9 Hannah Vezina 's (Lakewood) 11 kills; #10 Madison Alexander 's (Jamestown) 13 kills and 5 digs; and #12 Kayla Mansfield 's (Cherry Creek) 5 kills and 3 digs.
