The JCC Jayhawks (NJCAA Div III, 6-2) hosted a POD tournament and their second match of the tournament was against the Hawks of Mohawk Valley Community College (NJCAA Div III, 1-4). The Hawks played the Jayhawks well but the Jayhawks offense never let up as they won 3 sets in a row (25-13, 25-16, 25-14) to advance with another victory on the day. The Jayhawks were led by #10 Madison Alexander 's (Southwestern) 10 kills and 10 digs; #4 Ashley Butman's (Jamestown) 5 digs and 3 kills; #9 Hannah Vezina 's (Southwestern) 9 kills; #5 Carly Abbate's (Panama) 28 assists and 12 digs; #7 Danon Pischera 's (Falconer) 13 digs; and #2 Destiny Portlow 's (Jamestown) 5 kills.
