The JCC women's volleyball team (NJCAA Div III, 4-2) went on the road to face the Thunderwolves of Niagara County Community College (NJCAA Div III, 0-1). The Thunderwolves played the Jayawks close in the first set but the Jayhawks offense gained momentum the rest of the way while the Thunderwolves defense struggled, leading to a 3-0 win (25-19, 25-16, 25-12). The Jayhawks were led by #10 Maddie Alexander 's (Jamestown) 3 aces, 9 kills, 4 digs and 2 blocks; #9 Hannah Vezina 's (Lakewood) 4 aces, 7 kills and 6 blocks; #5 Carly Abbate 's (Ashville) 2 aces, 21 assists, and 6 digs; and #4 Ashley Butman 's (Jamestown) 5 kills and 10 digs.
