The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks women's volleyball team (NJCAA Div. III, 8-4) hosted the Vikings of Hudson Valley Community College (NJCAA DIv. III, 1-9). The Jayhawks won the first two sets soundly (25-17, 25-16). The Vikings rallied in the third set but the Jayhawks prevailed (25-23) to gain the victory 3-0. The Jayhawks were led by #5 Shannon Gunnell's (Falconer) 8 kills, 14 digs, and 2 aces; #1 Mandy Finch's (Randolph) 7 kills, 4 aces, and 2 digs; #9 Brandie Fuller's (Limestone) 8 digs, 3 kills, and 2 aces; #7 Kaitlyn Nye's (Cattaraugus) 20 digs, 16 assists, and 2 aces; and #8 Kaylee Luce's (Kennedy) 6 digs and 3 aces.
