The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks women's volleyball team (NJCAA Div. III, 14-5) hosted the Hornets of SUNY Broome Community College (NJCAA DIv. III, 11-9). The Hornets and Jayhawks had close matches, with the biggest margin of victory only being 6 points, but the Jayhawks held off the Hornets to win three consecutive sets (25-19, 25-19, 25-21) to give the Jayhawks a 3-0 victory. The Jayhawks were led by #5 Shannon Gunnell's (Falconer) 13 kills and 14 digs, #1 Mandy Finch's (Randolph) 7 kills and 20 digs, #3 Carly Abbate's (Ashville) 5 kills, 11 digs, and 3 aces, #7 Kaitlyn Nye's (Cattaraugus) 25 assists and 9 digs, #2 Kayleane Chase's (Randolph) 6 kills and 3 aces, and #8 Kaylee Luce's (Kennedy) 14 digs.
