The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks women's volleyball team (NJCAA Div. III, 11-4) traveled to face the Red Barons of Corning Community College (NCJAA Div III, 11-6). The Jayhawks soundly beat the Red Barons in consecutive sets (25-17, 25-18, 25-14) to gain the 3-0 victory. The Jayhawks were led by #5 Shannon Gunnell's (Falconer) 13 kills and 7 digs, #1 Mandy Finch's (Randolph) 7 kills, 5 digs, and 4 aces, #3 Carly Abbate's 14 digs and 4 kills, #2 Kayleane Chase's (Randolph) 5 kills and 3 blocks, and #7 Kaitlyn Nye's (Cattaraugus) 29 assists.
