The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks women's volleyball team (NJCAA Div. III, 15-6) traveled to face the undefeated Tribunes of Monroe Community College (NJCAA Div. 1, 23-0). The Tribunes won the first match and the Jayhawks rallied to win the second. However, the Tribune offense proved to be too effective as they defeated the Jayhawks in consecutive sets (16-25, 25-19, 25-16, 25-17) to give the Tribunes a 3-1 victory. The Jayhawks were led by #5 Shannon Gunnell's (Falconer) 12 kills, 7 digs, and 3 aces; #2 Kayleane Chase's (Randolph) 10 kills; #1 Mandy Finch's (Randolph) 8 kills, 6 aces, and 9 digs; #7 Kaitlyn Nye's (Cattaraugus) 29 assists and 11 digs; and #8 Kaylee Luce's (Kennedy) 15 digs.
