The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks women's volleyball team (NJCAA Div. III, 2-1) matched up with the Pioneers of Butler County Community College (NJCAA Div. III). The Jayhawks played the Pioneers close, rallying in the second match to stay within two points; however, the Pioneers prevailed, winning two sets in a row (25-19, 25-23) to defeat the Jayhawks 2-0. The Jayhawks were led #5 Shannon Gunnell's (Falconer) 4 kills and 6 digs, #3 Carly Abbate's (Ashville) 3 kills and 4 assists, #8 Kaylee Luce's (Kennedy) 8 digs, #2 Kaylean Chase's (Randolph) 3 blocks, and #7 Kaitlyn Nye's (Cattaraugus) 3 assists.
