The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks women's volleyball team (NJCAA Div. III, 1-0) squared off against the Spartans of Northampton Community College (NJCAA Div. III). The Jayhawks played the Spartans close, but fell in two sets (25-19, 25-14), losing 2-0. The Jayhawks were led by #5 Shannon Gunnell's (Falconer) 8 kills, #3 Carly Abbate's (Ashville) 9 assists, and #1 Mandy Finch's (Randolph) 2 digs.
