Jayhawks Come From Behind In Season Finale

The JCC Jayhawks Women's Soccer team (5-11) went on the road to face the Commodores of Lorain County Community College for the final game of the regular season.  The Commodores got on the board first and that would be the only goal of the first half as they took a 1-0 lead over the Jayhawks.  The Second half saw the Jayhawks score to tie the game 1-1 on a goal by #6 Courtney Hewes (Ashville), assisted by #11 Kenya Stanton (Portland).  The teams appeared headed to overtime but a last minute unassisted goal by #4 Madison McLachlan (Australia) gave the Jayhawks the come from behind win in dramatic fashion.  The Jayhawks defense was led by #13 Kashauna Learn (Salamanca) who had 2 saves while facing 3 shots on goal.
