Jayhawks fall to Sullivan on the road

LOCH SHELDRAKE – The Jamestown Community College women's basketball team fell to SUNY Sullivan County Community College Saturday afternoon, 108-70.

 

The Jayhawks (2-1) were led by guards Gabby Iuculano and Abi Lisciandro who scored a team-high 15 points apiece. Iuculano knocked down 5-of-6 free throws while Lisciandro went 4-of-5 from the floor and 7-of-8 from the charity line. Kayla Hohl and Courtney Hemminger added eight points each coming off the bench.

 

Lisciandro led the team in rebounds, grabbing seven (four offense, three defense). Iuculano and Macey Lundmark set their teammates up for success, dishing out four assists each.

 

The Generals were able to pull away in the second half, outscoring the Jayhawks 68-39. SUNY Sullivan had four players score in double-digits.

 

The Jayhawks will next be in action this Saturday, November 16th, where they face Fredrick Community College at 1 p.m. at the Montgomery College Tip-Off Classic.
