Jayhawks travel to Butler for a Wednesday night tilt

JAMESTOWN - The Jamestown Community College women's basketball team was able to get back in the win column Monday evening and will look to get on a roll this Wednesday against Butler County Community College.

The Jayhawks (3-4) are fresh off their 96-54 win over the Commodores where four players scored in double digits. Gabby Iuculano led all scorers with 21 points while Katelyn Fardink added 18 points off the bench.

So far on the year, JCC has scored just under 66 points a game while grabbing just under 35 rebounds per contest.

Jamestown will face a Pioneer team that is 1-7 on the year with their most recent game being a lost against Westmoreland, falling 45-29. Butler scores about 45 points per game and grab just over 36 rebounds a game. JCC will look to take advantage of the Pioneer defense as they have given up 70 points a contest.

The Pioneers will look to Casey Kretzer who has averaged 14.4 points per game with Michaella Roth and Alexis Barnhart scoring 10 points a game. Barnhart leads the way in rebounds with 9.4 rebounds per contest

Tip-off is scheduled for 5 p.m.
