JAMESTOWN - After a 10-day break, the Jamestown Community College women's basketball team will be back in full swing come Friday evening.

The Jayhawks (6-7) will hit to the road tomorrow evening to face Community College of Beaver County before returning home to face SUNY Sullivan County Community College on Saturday afternoon.

Jamestown is coming off an impressive win over Butler County Community College, defeating the Pioneers 78-33 on January 8th. Marisa Schuppenhauer recorded her first double-double of her collegiate career, scoring 11 points and grabbing 10 rebounds. Katelyn Fardink had a game-high 17 points coming off the bench.

JCC faces a Beaver County team that has posted a 7-7 record on the season with their latest win coming against Westmoreland County Community College. The Titans were led offensively in the game by Arianna Harper who has averaged 21 points per game. Island Bradley also played an important role in the Titans offense as she has averaged 19.1 points per game. Bradley has been dominate on the glass as well, grabbing 11.5 rebounds per contest. Ameerah Godwin has been efficient on the boards as well, grabbing 10.1 rebounds per game.

Beaver County has been scoring just under 60 points per game while grabbing 41.5 rebounds per game. The Titans defense have shown active hands on the defensive end, stealing the ball seven times per game.

After their quick road trip, the Jayhawks will return to the Physical Education Complex to face SUNY Sullivan. The team met earlier in the season with the Generals coming away with a 108-70 victory. In the game, Gabby Iuculano and Abi Lisciandro each had a team-high 15 points. Sullivan showed that they can score with multiple players with four players finding double digit scoring.

The Generals have post a season record of 11-2 on the season with their most recent game coming in a win over Monroe College earlier in the week. Heather Caroccia ahd a game-high 23 points with Jada Kelly adding 17 points off the bench. Kanayah Britt came away with a team-high eight rebounds.

Infinity Hammonds leads a Generals offense that scores 89.8 points per game with 23 points. Traynise Delaney is second on the team in points scored with 13.5 per game. On the glass, SUNY Sullivan grabs just over 40 rebounds per game with four players hauling in five rebounds per game.

The Jayhawks game on Friday night starts at 5 p.m. with their game on Saturday starting at 12 p.m.
