The JCC Jayhawks women's basketball team (NJCAA Div II, 7-17) traveled to face the Thunderwolves of Niagara County Community College (NJCAA Div II, 27-2). Things got off to a rough start for the Jayhawks as they were outscored 34-9 in the first 10 minutes of play were down by 37 points (60-23) at the half. The Jayhawks played better in the second half as they scored more points (28 second half points) but the Jayhawks were no match for the Thunderwolves this day as they were routed 102-51. The Jayhawks were led by #33 Brianne Davis ' (Bemus Point) 15 points; #32 Alisha Szumigala 's (Forestville) 13 points and 8 rebounds; #30 Natalie Houle 's (Sherman) 9 points (3-4 from beyond the arc) and 3 rebounds; #4 Bianca Brown 's (Niagara Falls) 7 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 assists; #20 Sydney Wight 's (Wellsville) 3 points and 5 rebounds; and #34 Katrina Kerkendall 3 points and 3 rebounds.
