The JCC Jayhawks women's basketball team (NJCAA Div II, 5-12) went on the road to face the Saints of Mercyhurst NE (NJCAA Div II, 3-7. The Jayhawks offense struggled early but their defense held the Saints to a 6 point lead (23-17) at the end of the first half. The second half the Saints offense proved to be too strong to contain as they put up 38 points on the Jayhawks defense on their way to down the Jayhawks 66-40. The Jayhawks were led by #4 Bianca Brown 's (Niagara Falls) 11 points; #33 Brianne Davis ' (Bemus Point) 9 points (3-4 from beyond the arc) and 4 rebounds; #32 Alisha Szumigala 's (Forestville) 8 points; #11 Kaleigh Brunswick 's (South Dayton) 4 points; and #20 Sydney Wight 's (Wellsville) 2 points and 9 rebounds.
