The JCC women's basketball team (NJCAA Div II, 5-5) hosted the Panthers of Pitt-Titusville (NJCAA Div II). The Jayhawks dominated the first half taking a 43-17 lead into half time. The Panthers came on strong in the beginning of the second half, keeping up with the Jayhawks point for point. After a time out with some adjustments by coach Wells, the Jayhawks responded with long three pointers to help them begin to dominate as they did in the first half. The Panthers defense could not keep up with the onslaught of points as they Jayhawks routed the Panthers 82-40 The Jayhawks were led by #32 Alisha Szumigala 's (Forestville) double double of 16 points and 16 rebounds; #20 Sydney Wight 's (Wellsville) double double of 12 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists; #33 Brianne Davis ' (Bemus Point) 12 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals; #30 Natalie Houle 's (Sherman) 11 points and 3 rebounds. #4 Bianca Brown 's (Niagara Falls) 10 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists; and #11 Kaleigh Brunswick 's (South Dayton) 10 points, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds.
