The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks women's basketball team (NJCAA Div. II, 17-2) hosted the Bulldogs of Bunker Hill Community College (NJCAA Div III, 9-6). The Bulldogs and Jayhawks played an evenly matched defensive game in the first half with a 7 points 34-27 advantage going to the Jayhawks. Adjustments were made and both offenses responded in spectacular fashion. The Bulldogs nearly doubled their first half production by putting up 45 second half points on the Jayhawks. However, the Jayhawks' offense was not to be trifled with, as they put up 54 second half points on the Bulldogs on route to an 88-72 victory. The Jayhawks were led by #11 Elle Reed's (Sherman) 23 points, 4 steals, 4 assists, and 3 rebounds; #24 Akiah Luceus' (Victory Collegiate) 20 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists; #21 Alex Sullivan's (Southwestern) 18 points, 9 assists, and 8 rebounds; #22 Lacey Clark's (Dunkirk) 13 points; #20 Nakisha Saintval's (North Miami Beach) 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 steals; and by #32 Alisha Szumigala (Forestville) and #40 Corri Hannon (Falconer) who each pulled down 4 rebounds.
