The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks women's basketball team (NJCAA Div. II, 17-3) went on the road to face the Saints of Mercyhurst University-North East (NJCAA Div III, 9-7). The Jayhawks and Saints played a defensive game in the first half with neither team's offense scoring more than 30 points and the Jayhawks having a 5 point lead. The second half adjustments made by the Saints kept the Jayhawks off balance on offense and defense, and the Jayhawks scored only 20 second half points while the Saints put up 34 points to down the Jayhawks 58-49. The Jayhawks were led by #11 Elle Reed's (Sherman) double double of 18 points and 10 rebounds; #22 Lacey Clark's (Dunkirk) 12 points and 5 rebounds; #21 Alex Sullivan's (Southwestern) 9 points, 3 steals, and 3 assists; #24 Akiah Luceus' (Victory Collegiate) 5 points and 13 rebounds; #40 Corri Hannon's (Falconer) 4 points, 9 rebounds, and 3 assists; and #32 Alisha Szumigala's (Forestville) 7 rebounds.
