The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks women's basketball team (NJCAA Div. II, 15-2) went on the road to face the Knights of Niagara College (NJCAA). The first half saw the Jayhawks come away with a 10 point 37-27 lead over the Knights. In the second half the Knights' offense gained momentum and closed in on the Jayhawks. However, the Jayhawks' offense didn't miss a beat and downed the Knights 73-58. The Jayhawks were led by #11 Elle Reed's (Sherman) 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 4 assists; #21 Alex Sullivan's (Southwestern) 13 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists; #32 Alisha Szumigala's (Forestville) 10 points and 7 rebounds; #22 Lacey Clark's (Dunkirk) 9 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists; #24 Akiah Luceus' (Victory Collegiate) 5 points and 6 rebounds; and #40 Corri Hannon's (Falconer) 9 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists.
