ROCHESTER – On the road against NJCAA Division I Monroe Community College, the Jamestown Community College men's soccer team dropped the contest by the score of 5-0 Tuesday afternoon.
In a game that experienced over an hour-long lightning delay in the 52nd minute of action, the Jayhawks (2-2-1) found themselves at a disadvantage on the offensive end, only getting three shots off on goal with freshman forward Alex Watt (Belfast, Northern Ireland/Campbell College) getting two opportunities on net.
Freshman goalkeeper Paledi Lamani (Pretoria, Gauteng, South Africa/Pretoria Boys HS) went the distance in net, making 10 saves on 15 attempts.
The Jayhawks will continue their road schedule as they travel to SUNY Broome Community College for a 3 p.m. game on Saturday, September 17th.
