The JCC Jayhawks men's soccer team (NJCAA Div III, 2-11-2) went on the road to face the Cougars of Genesee Community College (NJCAA Div III, 14-0). The undefeated Cougars have won 14 straight games and shut out 6 teams along the way and hoped to continue this success against the Jayhawks. Things went the Cougars way in the first half as they put up four goals againt the Jayhawks. Adjustments were made at the half and things seemed to settle down for the Jayhawks as they matched the Cougars lone goal of the the half with a goal by #8 Josef Niedermayer (Australia) to end the shut out in a 5-1 defeat to the Cougars. The Jayhawks defense was led by goalie #12 Eric Priester (Lakewood) who had 10 saves while facing 15 shots on goal.
