CANANDAIGUA, NY - A tough season for the Jamestown Community College (JCC) men's basketball will end with at least one bright spot as the Jayhawks took down Finger Lakes Community College 97-87 in their penultimate regular season game on Wednesday.
A trio of Jayhawks led the way in the scoring department: Tamir Barrant had 28, Marcus Wynter 25, and Federico Foddai 17.
The hot shooting is what won it for JCC, hitting on 54.4% of their field goals, with 52.4% from three and almost 80% from the free throw line.
This victory snaps a 14-game skid for JCC and moves their overall record to 5-22.
Jamestown finishes the regular season on Saturday, February 22nd, at 3:00 PM with a league game at Monroe Community College.
