Jayhawks look to sweep the season series against Lorain County tomorrow evening

JAMESTOWN - After falling in their last two game, the Jamestown Community College men's basketball team will look to right the ship tomorrow evening.

The Jayhawks (5-6) will close out their four-game road trip as they travel to Lorain County Community College, looking to sweep the season series. Jamestown defeated the Commodores two weeks ago in a 101-95 battle. JCC had all five starters score in double digits with Isaac Allen leading the way with 24 points. Ja'Shawn Robinson recorded his first collegiate double-double, scoring 19 points and grabbing a game-high 13 rebounds (4 offense, 9 defense).

Jaylen Jenkins led the offense for Lorain County in the first matchup, scoring 22 points off the bench. Jacob Marsh added 20 points with Derek Yahnke grabbing eight rebounds.

Since their last matchup, the Jayhawks have gone 1-2 with their most recent lost coming against Sinclair Community College this past Saturday. In the game, Jordan Thomas led the offense with 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to record his first double-double. The Jayhawks will have to clamp down on the defensive end of the court as they allowed Sinclair to shoot 56.9 percent from the floor.

Since their last meeting, Lorain County has gone 1-2 with their most recent game being a 99-97 win over CC of Allegheny County.

Game will start at 7 p.m.
