The Thunderwolves brought in a 12 game win streak while the Jayhawks were winners of 8 out of their last 9 games. While the Jayhawks played a consistent game and limited turnovers, it was the Thunderwolves rebounding that made the difference. The Thunderwolves had 50 rebounds to the Jayhawks 23 and this mismatch in rebounding created many fast break scoring opportunities that allowed the Thunderwolves to down the Jayhawks 99-71.
