The JCC Jayhawks (NJCAA Div II, 13-2) went on the road to face the Commodores of Lorain County Community College. The Jayhawks controlled the first half, taking a 12 point lead as the first half ended 52-40. The second half saw both defenses slow their opposing offense, but the Jayhawks still kept the upper hand, downing the Commodores 92-71. The Jayhawks were led by #21 Kyle Taylor-Mcleggan 's (Harlem) 31 points, 3 steals, and 3 rebounds; #24 Rakim Lesane 's (Coney Island) 30 points, 9 rebounds, and 6 assists; #22 Samuel Joseph 's (Brooklyn) 11 points, 4 steals, and 4 rebounds; #32 Brandon Kemp 's (Brooklyn) 8 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 blocks; and last but certainly not least was #40 Brian Roberts ' (Cleveland) 2 points, 16 rebounds, and 6 blocks.
