The JCC Jayhawks (NJCAA Div II, 10-2) hosted the Panthers of Pitt-Titusville. The previous meeting between these two teams this season saw both teams score over 100 points so a high flying, high scoring game would be the norm, not the exceptions. The first half saw a fast paced, back and forth game with the Jayhawks taking a 48-40 lead into the half. The second half saw both an offensive explosion and a defensive explosion as both teams continued to assault the rim with the difference being an unrelenting Jayhawk defense that seemed to block shots at will. The Panthers and Jayhawk offenses were powerful but it was the Jayhawk defense that made the difference as the Jayhawks downed the Panthers 111-90.
