The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks men's basketball team (NJCAA Div. II, 10-2) hosted the Wolfpack of Westmoreland County Community College (NJCAA Div. III, 2-8) as part of the Jamestown Post-Journal Tournament. Both the Jayhawks and Wolfpack played close, as both defenses had the opposing offense in check as the Jayhawks took a 2 point lead at the end of the first half. Both offenses gained ground in the second half but the Jayhawks' offense proved to be more potent as the Jayhawks downed the Wolfpack 73-63. The Jayhawks were led by #4 Chris Van Buren's (Brooklyn) 30 points; #34 Ohndo Smith's (Manhattan) double double of 20 points, 12 rebounds, and 4 assists; #33 Kamal Nelson's (Brooklyn) 7 points; #20 Jaleel Gary's (Bronx) 6 points and 3 rebounds; #10 Kasean Jackson's (Brooklyn) 6 points; and #30 Aleksander Peck's (West Ellicott) 7 assists and 6 rebounds.
