The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks Men's Basketball team (NJCAA Div. II, 11-4) hosted the Knights of Niagara College. The Knights and Jayhawks got off to an exciting first half with the Knights having an 8 point lead at the end of the first half. Both defenses clamped down in the second half as both teams only allowed 28 points, leaving the 8 point margin as the difference as the Knights downed the Jayhawks 69-61. The Jayhawks were led by #34 Ohndo Smith's (Manhattan) double double of 23 points and 11 rebounds; #10 Kasean Jackson's (Brooklyn) 10 points and 3 rebounds; #4 Chris Van Buren's (Brooklyn) 8 points and 7 assists; #30 Aleksander Peck's (West Ellicott) 8 points; #33 Kamal Nelson's (Brooklyn) 6 points and 6 rebounds; and #15 Akeem Bubb's (Brooklyn) 5 rebounds.
