The Jamestown Community College Jayhawks men's basketball team (NJCAA Div. II, 3-1) went on the road to face the Ocelots of Schoolcraft College (NJCAA Div. II, 2-0) as part of the Owens Community College Invitational. The Ocelots dominated the Jayhawks in the first half, taking a 12 point lead into the half. Although the Jayhawk offense performed better in the second half, they were no match for the Ocelots on this day as the Ocelots routed the Jayhawks 94-66. The Jayhawks were led by #34 Ohndo Smith's (Manhattan), 25 points and 7 rebounds; #20 Jaleel Gary's (Bronx) 12 points and 2 blocks; #33 Kamal Nelson's (Brooklyn) 10 points and 2 steals; #12 Latrel Bruno's (Brooklyn) 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 steals; and #24 Lex Pena's (Brooklyn) 4 rebounds.
