OLEAN, NY - Jamestown Community College (JCC) had another Super Smash Brothers double header with two Jayhawks facing off against the Jacksonville College Jaguars and the Jefferson College Vikings.
Starting things off for the Jayhawks was Bretten Chreve of Westfield Central School, who mains Yoshi or Byleth in game. He improved to 3-0 on the season after a 4-0 best of seven victory against the Jaguars, who dropped to 0-2 on the season. Bretten won his four games by scores of three knockouts to zero, 3-1, 3-1, and 3-2.
Michael Horvath of Chautauqua Lake Central School, who mains Mac and Sonic, kept the momentum going for the Jayhawks with a 4-0 victory of his own. He defeated Connor Gregory of Jefferson College by scores of 3-2, 3-2, 3-0, and a final blow of three knockouts to two. Mike improves to 2-0 on the season, while the Vikings dropped to 3-2.
Both Jayhawks look to continue their win streaks next week, with opponents TBD.
