Jayhawks Fall to Lazers

The Jamestown C.C. Jayhawks Baseball team came up short in two doubleheaders against the Onondaga Lazers on Saturday and Sunday, dropping four on the road and moving to (7-14) on the season.

In game one of the first doubleheader, Jamestown would score one run off of five hits with a lone RBI by Roberto Aracena. The final would read 4-1 in favor of Onondaga. In game two, unfortunately, the Jayhawks would struggle defensively as the Lazers would win 11-1.  The Jayhawks would post three hits with one RBI from Caleb Caldwell

Following Saturday's games, Onondaga won in game one 4-0 in a tightly contested match up that would see the Lazers post two runs in the second inning and a run a piece in the fifth and sixth to pull away. In game two, Onondaga would win with a score of 16-6. Notable performers for Jamestown would be Evan Harrison with three hits and one RBI and Spencer TeWinkle who would go for two hits as well.

Jamestown C.C. Baseball returns to play when they host Niagara County C.C. in a doubleheader matchup at Diethrick Park at 2:00PM & 4:00PM
