The JCC Jayhawks men's baseball team (NJCAA Div III, 8-25) went on the road to face the Red Barons of Onondaga Community College (NJCAA Div III) in double header action.  A defensive pitching battle was broken up after 2 innings when the Red Barons scored 2 runs in the 3rd inning and follow that up with 2 more runs in the 4th inning to take a commanding 4-0 lead.  After a scoreless 5th inning the Jayhawks scored 2 runs in the 6th inning.  This proved to be the end of the scoring for both team as the Red Barons held on to down the Jayhawks 4-2.  The Jayhawks offense was led by #15 Connor Fitzgerald (Ontario) who had 1 hit, scored 1 run, and had 1 RBI; #7 Noah Weinstein (Jamestown) had 1 hit and 1 RBI; #8 Michael Keller (Clarence) scored 1 run; and #24 Noah Whalen (Buffalo), #23 Andrew Latona (Jamestown), and #18 Michael Wilcox (Falconer) each had 1 hit.  The Jayhawks pitching was led by #3 John White (Warren) (0-3) who faced 20 batters while giving up 6 hits, 2 earned runs, and striking out 1 batter.

The second game did not go well for the Jayhawks right from the start.  The Red Barons scored 7 runs in the first inning.  Things settled down in the 2nd and 3rd inning as neither team was able to score.  The 4th inning saw the Jayhawks #15 Connor Fitzgerald (Ontario) hit a monster home run that helped narrow the lead to 7-2.  However, in the 5th inning, the Red Barons took that 7 point advantage right back scoring 2 runs of their own.  This would be the last of the scoring as the Red Barons went on to defeat the Jayhawks 9-2.  The Jayhawks offense was led by #15 Connor Fitzgerald (Ontario) who had 1 hit, scored 1 run, and had 1 RBI; #3 John White (Warren) had 2 hits and 1 RBI; #7 Noah Weinstein (Jamestown) had 2 hits; #6 Jimmy Schuab (Falconer) scored 1 run; while #11 Bryce Sherrard (Youngsville) and #5 Kyle Mayer (Mayville) each had 1 hit.  The Jayhawks pitching was led by #10 Michael Williamson (Cuba) who faced 34 batters while giving up 10 hits, 4 earned runs, and striking out 6 batters.
