The JCC Jayhawks men's baseball team (NJCAA Div III, 7-22) went on the road to face the Lazers of Onondaga Community College (NJCAA Div III) in double header action.  After a scoreless 1^st inning, the Lazers went up 1-0 on the Jayhawks in the second inning.  The third inning see the Jayhawks score twice to take a 2-1 lead.  Then, things unraveled for the Jayhawks in the 4^th inning where they allowed the Lazers to score 7 runs.  The Jayhawks scored 2 more runs in the 5^th inning but that ended the scoring for the Jayhawks as they were downed by the Lazers 9-4.  The Jayhawks offense was led by #15 Connor Fitzgerald (Ontario) who had 3 hits, 2 RBI's, and scored 2 runs; #18 Michael Wilcox (Falconer) had 1 hit and scored 1 run; #6 Jimmy Schuab (Falconer) had 1 RBI; and #24 Noah Whalen (Buffalo) and #8 Michael Keller (Clarence) scored 1 run each.  Pitcher #9 Jeff Miller (Jamestown) (1-2) took the loss for the Jayhawks facing 21 batters while giving up 5 hits, 5 earned runs while striking out 2 batters.  #10 Michael Williamson (Cuba) also saw action on the mound facing 15 batters while allowing 2 hits, 1 earned run, and striking out 3 batters. 

The second game of the double header saw a defensive pitching battle with neither team scoring through 7 innings the game was scheduled for.  In the bottom of the 8^th inning, the Lazers scored to give them a narrow 1-0 victory over the Jayhawks.  The Jayhawks offense was led by The Jayhawks offense was led by #15 Connor Fitzgerald (Ontario) and #18 Michael Wilcox (Falconer) who had two hits a piece while #21 Robbie Burgess (Westfield) and #6 Jimmy Schuab (Falconer) had 1 hit a piece.  The Jayhawks pitching was led by #18 Michael Wilcox who pitched the entire game, faced 26 batters while giving up only 4 hits, 0 earned runs, and striking out 3 batters.
