TROY – Academic honors keep rolling in with the 2021-22 Academic All-Region selections coming in.
Jamestown Community College had 40 student-athletes make the list which ranks first in all of Region 3 and its 21 member institutions. Herkimer College was close behind with 37 honorees.
In order to make Academic All-Region, student-athletes must have completed a minimum of 24 credit hours with a minimum of a 3.5 GPA and competed in one sport throughout the year.
Of the men's teams, soccer leads the way with seven honorees with baseball having four. Wrestling and golf each had four honorees with swimming & diving having two. Basketball rounds out the group with one honoree.
Of the women's teams, volleyball and softball led the way with four honorees each. Soccer, basketball, and swimming & diving each had three members with cross country rounding out the group with one honoree.
